Sir Roger George Moore, born October 14, 1927 in Stockwell, London, is a British (English) actor, director and film producer. He has particular played the role of James Bond between 1973 and 1985. He is also known for roles as Simon Templar in the TV series The Saint and as Lord Brett Sinclair in the TV series Persuaders Working in which he starred with Tony Curtis as the American millionaire Danny Wilde.
