Matthew "Matt" Paige Damon, born October 8, 1970 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is an American actor and screenwriter. Damon made his film debut in 1992 in the movie School Ties where his childhood friend Ben Affleck starred. Damon was Oscar awarded, along with Ben Affleck for Best Original Screenplay for Good Will Hunting. He is now best known as an actor in The Bourne and Ocean's-trilogies.
