Serena Jameka Williams, born September 26, 1981 in Saginaw, Michigan, is an American professional tennis player, younger sister of tennis player Venus Williams. Sisters Serena's and Venus' father had a dream that at least one of the sisters would be a tennis star, which would help them out of the relatively poor circumstances that the family lived. They went both early to tennis school for the professional player Rick Macci. He had also, among others, trained Jennifer Capriati and Mary Pierce. Both sisters developed into good "all court players." Serena playing with two-handed backhand. Serena is also known for his spectacular fashion style on the tennis court.
