Sam Neill, born 14 september 1947 in Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, is a New Zealand actor. He had a prominent role as paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park films. Neill was born in Northern Ireland but grew up in New Zealand (from the age of seven).
