Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev, born 14 september 1965 in St. Petersburg (then Leningrad) in the USSR, is a Russian politician who is the Prime Minister of Russia since 8 May 2012. He was also the President of Russia between 7 May 2008 and 7 May 2012. Since 25 april 2012 he is also the leader of United Russia, a post previously held by Vladimir Putin.
