The Spotted Redshank (Tringa erythropus) breed in Scandinavia and northern Asia.The bird is migratory and is wintering around the Mediterranean, South Asia and occasionally in tropical Africa.
Like most shorebirds the Spotted Redshank feed on small invertebrates.
