BIRD OF THE DAY
Grey Phalarope (Phalaropus fulicarius) nest in the arctic regions of northern Europe, Asia and North America. It is a migratory bird, and, unusually for a wader, moving mostly on sea routes and wintering at sea in the tropical oceans.
