Kenny Rogers

Kenneth Rogers, born August 21, 1938, in Houston, Texas, is a prolific American country music artist, photographer, producer, songwriter, actor and businessman.

He started as a singer in the group The First Edition, and since then the group dissolved in 1976 he had a successful solo career. He is also famous for recording a duet of Islands in the Stream by Dolly Parton in 1983.
