The Little Stint(Calidris minuta) is a long-migrant that breeds in the arctic regions of Europe and Asia. The bird winters in Africa and South Asia.

The Little Stint feeds on small invertebrates which it picks up from the mud.

The female is often polygamous and leaves the male to incubate the eggs as she adds new eggs in another territory.
