The Greenish Warbler (Phylloscopus trochiloides) breeds from eastern Europe eastwards to the north of Asia's Pacific coast. The bird is migratory and winters in India and other South Asia.

Like most warblers the Greenish Warbler eats mainly insects.

The nest is built of grass, leaves and moss and placed on the ground in dense vegetation.
