The Great Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus arundinaceus) nests in large parts of Europe (excluding UK and Iceland), in Northwest Africa and Asia as far east as western China. It is a migratory bird that winters in tropical Africa.
Great Reed warbler occurs in dense reedbeds, often with hints of bushes, near lakes and wetlands.
The Great Reed Warbler climbs and jumps in the reeds and feeds on spiders, molluscs, insects and their larvae, and berries.
