The shift from winter to spring is preceded by lots of signs. We are looking for such signs of spring and find them almost everywhere.

For me, the cranes' arrival is the biggest sign of spring. The cranes fly in in large amounts over southern Sweden. They come flying in flocks of 15-30 birds with loud trumpet sounds.

The cranes gather in a few places. At the end of march there is about 20 000 dancing cranes at the lake of Hornborgasjön.
