Lazy birds *

Winter is here and some birds that should have migrated south a long time ago, but for some reason decided to stay this winter, are having difficult times with the cold an they  look like balls of down.
Why do they stay?
Maybe they are lazy and they take a chance that this winter will be mild. Maybe we humans are not the only animals being lazy.
