Wednesday in the middle of the week *

Laura Davies probably played golf today

I miss my golf round today. Bad weather.

Wednesday is mid-week if you count Sunday as the first day of the week. Not all countries do. In more modern times, industrial society has done much to destroy the traditional concept of Sunday as the first day. The International Standards Organisation has decided that Monday is to be regarded as the first day of the week.

I think this means that the Germans have to find another name for their Wednesday (Mittwoch in german means "in the middle of the week")

I think wednesdays are my philosophy day ;-)

Today I'm starting this blog timeline. A headline with a link for each of my published posts per day. And on top of every day a post like this one.

Today i have also started to do "Urban Sketches" which I will publish on the "Everyday Sketch" blog. These sketches are mostly done on location using an iPad to draw on. All urban sketches will have a link to a Google Maps widget where you can see the location for the drawing.
