Tundra Swan |
The North American population of the Tundra Swan breed around the coasts of northern and western Alaska and northern Canada. These birds spend the winter on the entire U.S. West Coast, in Texas and on the east coast between Cape Cod and Cape Fear.
Tundra Swans nest in the marshes of the Arctic tundra. In the winter the Tundra Swans are often close to the coast.
Tundra Swan feed on aquatic plants and grasses.
