The Black Kite (Milvus migrans) is probably the earth's most numerous bird of prey. Black Kites breed in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. Parts of the population is migratory birds, while others are resident birds.

The Black Kite's diet consists of small animals (rodents), fish, household waste and carrion.
