David Hasselhof

David Hasselhoff, born July 17, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland, is an American actor, singer, producer and director.

The  TV series The Young and the Restless was David's breakthrough, and he stayed in the series for six years.

From 1980 to 1986, Hasselhoff was the star of TV series Knight Rider. During this period he also received The People's Choice Award for Best Actor.

In 1989 the series Baywatch started with David Hasselhoff in the leading role as Lt.. Mitch Buchannon, a role he retained until 2000, the year before the series was canceled.
